Poems by Jerry Reger
A Dark Lady
Through shadows of the mind travels a dark lady
Day, night, light, or darkness makes no difference
Moving as the gentle stirrings of a mist. Not seen
but always present. The mist strokes the side of the face.
She is there.
Reaching out to touch her, to feel her presence. She is
constant, but yet not. Only a vapor washing over reality
