Poems by benjtf
Oaks, maples, weeping willows
Tall guardians of the live forest
Proud sentries of this ancient place
Mighty pines standing tall
Sweeping the sky with their mighty boughs
From their sleep the spirits rose
Inspiration at last!
The sun rose and the earth it kissed.
Milk Is His Name
Milk is his name, a cat
Like liquid milk as he jumps from his hearth perch
A dewdrop basking in the summer sun
Only soft purrs distinguish him from a ball of cotton
But so much he holds in my heart
For Milk is his name
